Stretches for Scoliosis

I’ve had my back problems under control for quite a while now; it hasn’t bothered me to a point where I felt like I couldn’t do something. Til yesterday. It felt a little tight the other day, probably from all the dead hangs and such… And it hurt a bit in bed when I laid a certain way. I was hoping when I woke up it would be better, but I was wrong.

Knee Pain from running? Minor adjustments could help

I’ve been dealing with a knee issue for a couple years now. Not sure how I came to injure my knee, there’s no moment I can point back to and say “hmm that’s probably the culprit”. I do know winter was ending and over that winter I was lifting heavy with my trainer and hardly running – hello Maryland winter.

I complained to him about it and we really concentrated on proper form, keeping knees out during squats especially, and strengthening the muscles around it. This helped some. And as soon as it started to hurt we’d pull back.

I went to a doctor for an X-ray a couple months after I initially had pain and they told me nothing was wrong and essentially shooed me out of the office like I was a pest or faking it. Continue reading “Knee Pain from running? Minor adjustments could help”
